To standardize the competition procedures of the Boao Global Youth AI Application Challenge (hereinafter referred to as the "Challenge"), ensure the fair and orderly progress of the competition, and clarify the relevant matters concerning the submission deadline for the preliminary round and the announcement of the final results, the specific information is hereby notified as follows. All participating entities are requested to strictly comply with the provisions.
I. Instructions on the Submission Deadline for the Preliminary Round
The submission deadline for entries of the preliminary round of this Challenge is set at 23:59 on March 8 (Beijing Time), and the deadline shall be subject to the final submission time displayed on the entry submission system.
Upon the expiry of the submission deadline, the entry submission system will be automatically closed, and no submission, revision or supplement of entries in any form will be accepted. All participants shall make reasonable arrangements for their time, polish and submit their entries in advance to avoid any impact on their competition eligibility due to delayed submission; all participating organizations shall organize and remind their participants to ensure that all entries are submitted on time and in compliance with the rules.
II. Instructions on the Announcement of the Final Results
The roadshow of the final round of this Challenge will be held offline independently by each regional sub-division. The evaluation work will be carried out in an orderly manner after the closing of the preliminary round submission and the conclusion of the roadshows of all sub-divisions. The final results will be comprehensively assessed based on multiple dimensions including the quality of entries and the offline roadshow performance of each sub-division, and will be officially announced on March 15 (Beijing Time).
The results will be released through designated channels such as the official website and official WeChat Official Account of the Challenge. All participating organizations and participants are requested to pay close attention to official information and inquire about the evaluation results in a timely manner. After the announcement of the results, the relevant matters such as subsequent award collection and commendation will be notified simultaneously, and the award-winning participants and organizations are requested to keep their communication channels unobstructed.
III. Other Notes
All participating entities shall strictly abide by the submission deadline requirements. Any entry submitted after the deadline shall be deemed an invalid entry and will not be included in the preliminary round evaluation.
After submitting an entry, participants may log in to the system to check the submission status of the entry before the deadline. In case of submission failure, abnormal content or other problems, please contact the Challenge Organizing Committee for handling in a timely manner.
If any participant has an objection to the final results after their announcement, a written objection application may be submitted to the Challenge Organizing Committee within 3 working days after the results are announced, and no applications will be accepted after the deadline.
The right of final interpretation of this notice shall vest in the Organizing Committee of the Boao Global Youth AI Application Challenge.
